About The Institution

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is an institute of higher education established by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) priests in the year 1969 with the motto “Excellence and Service”. CHRIST is dedicated to providing holistic education to the youth and establishing research in advanced fields. 

The multi-disciplinary University which focuses on teaching, research and service offers Bachelor to Doctoral programmes in various disciplines. The University offers its programmes at three locations in Bangalore in Karnataka; as well as in Pune Lavasa in Maharashtra and in Delhi NCR. The campus is a living example of harmonious multiculturalism with students from all the states of India and around 60 different countries.

About The Conference

The international conference on Graph Theory is a prestigious event organized in honour of Prof. S. Arumugam’s 80th birthday, recognising his significant contributions to the field. The conference brings together researchers, academics, and professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge and insights in the realm of Graph Theory and its applications. With a focus on theoretical and practical aspects, the conference covers diverse topics on Graph theory and its applications.

Attendees can expect engaging sessions, including paper presentations and the invited talks. This International Conference will be held in a hybrid manner at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, India, during November 30-December 02, 2023. 

About Professor S Arumugam

One of the early adopters of graph theory, Prof. S Arumugam, has contributed significantly to the popularisation of the subject in India. For over five decades, he has been serving numerous prestigious academic institutions in diverse roles as a professor, visiting professor, academic mentor, and head of academic bodies worldwide. Prof. Arumugam has a rich background spanning many years as a gifted teacher and a brilliant researcher. He has authored twenty reference books, and over three hundred research articles, supervised forty doctoral theses, and delivered invited lectures at nearly 400 conferences and seminars. Prof. Arumugam also serves as a member of editorial boards and referee panels for widely recognized academic journals.
